Poket PC Pricing: Free 1.0, Pro Planned for Version 1.1

Poket PC 1.0 is free: no ads, no in-app purchases, and no account needed to pair your phone with your Mac. You can download the Mac helper today, install the Android app from Google Play or the iPhone app from the public TestFlight beta, and use the screen, trackpad, keyboard, tiles and Ask at no charge. Nothing in the apps can be bought today. Poket PC Pro is planned for version 1.1; what is planned for it is below, marked as a plan.

What is free in 1.0

Everything that ships in 1.0 costs nothing:

There is no countdown, no paywall and no upgrade prompt anywhere in 1.0.

Poket PC Pro, planned for version 1.1

Poket PC Pro is planned for version 1.1, with a monthly and an annual plan on the App Store. Both plans are planned to start with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. It is not on sale today, so neither Pro nor its trial can be started yet. The current plan is for Pro to add room for up to five computers and unlimited schedules. This page will list everything Pro includes before 1.1 is released.

Until then, 1.0 is the whole product, and it is free.

These are Apple’s own App Store prices for each country or region, set by Apple from the US price, not our conversions. Apple can change local prices, so once Pro is on sale the App Store shows the current price for your country before you confirm anything. The rows for English-speaking markets come first.

How a free trial works on the App Store

A free trial on the App Store is an introductory offer, and Apple’s rules for those apply to the one planned for Pro:

Apple handles the payment, the renewal and any refund request; Poket PC never sees your card.

What you might pay elsewhere: Ask and models

Poket PC does not resell AI usage. Ask runs on your Mac and talks to:

If you use Claude Code, you pay Anthropic through your existing subscription. If you use Ollama with a local model, you pay nothing for inference on your own hardware. Your prompts, and the screenshots Ask needs, go to the provider you pick; with Ollama they stay on the Mac. Poket PC has no screen for entering an API key yet; one is planned.

Screen, trackpad, keyboard and tiles do not need Ask or any model provider.

Personal use, no subscription

Poket PC 1.0 targets personal use: one helper on your Mac, and phones you pair yourself. There is no subscription to Poket PC at all in 1.0. For what each platform can do today, see the download page, the security model and the FAQ.

Beta and the iPhone app

The Mac helper is available now. The iPhone app is in a public TestFlight beta (the join link is on the beta page), and version 1.0 is in App Review for the App Store. Beta builds are free under the same 1.0 terms.

How much does Poket PC cost?

Version 1.0 is free. There are no ads and no in-app purchases, and nothing in the apps can be bought today.

When will Poket PC Pro be available?

Pro is planned for version 1.1. It is not on sale today, and no release date has been announced.

Will the price be the same in every country?

No. Each country or region will pay Apple's local App Store price, which Apple sets from the US price. The table on this page lists the planned prices for the main markets.

Do I pay for AI in Poket PC?

Poket PC does not sell model usage. Ask uses your own Claude subscription through Claude Code on the Mac, or a local model in Ollama, so any model cost goes to that provider, or nothing if you use Ollama locally.

Is the Mac helper free?

Yes. The notarized Mac helper is part of the free 1.0 release, and it updates itself.

Are there ads or time limits?

No. Version 1.0 shows no ads and has no countdown, paywall or time limit.
