The Poket PC iPhone app is how you see your Mac, move its pointer, type into it, fire one-tap actions, and hand work to the assistant on the Mac. You pair once with the free Mac helper; after that the app connects on its own, directly on the same Wi-Fi and through the relay when you are away. The iPhone app is not on the App Store yet: install it from the public TestFlight beta (see the beta page). Its interface is in English in version 1.0.
Install the Mac helper on the computer you want to reach. It lives in the menu bar, asks for Accessibility and Screen Recording, and shows a QR code when you choose Pair New Device. Full setup steps are in the control Mac from iPhone guide.
Requirements: iOS 18 or later on the phone and macOS 14 Sonoma or later on the Mac.
After pairing, the app connects to your Mac by itself and shows it at the top of the home screen, with a Connect button when the session is down. While you are connected, the status line reads Same Wi‑Fi (direct) or Anywhere (relay). You do not choose the path; the app switches automatically. In 1.0 the app remembers one Mac at a time.
Revoking a phone from the Mac’s menu bar ends that phone’s live session immediately. There is no account to sign into on the iPhone.
The Screen view streams your Mac’s main display to the phone: H.264 at 30 fps, long edge up to 1600 pixels. Multi-monitor support is planned; today only the main display is sent. There is no audio stream yet.
Tap to click, hold still to right-click, hold then drag to drag, slide one finger to move the pointer, use two fingers to scroll, and pinch to zoom the view. That covers apps with no dedicated tile.
Trackpad turns a large panel of the iPhone screen into a trackpad (speeds in Settings). Keyboard sends text plus Return and Delete into the frontmost Mac app. Modifier shortcuts, arrow keys, Escape and function keys are planned, not shipped in 1.0.
Deck tiles open Music, Safari or Notes, send media and brightness keys, and trigger sleep, lock, screen saver, Mission Control or Show Desktop. The default deck has Music, Safari, play/pause, previous, next, volume down and up, mute, Mission Control and Lock; Edit adds more from a preset list. The 1.0 deck cannot add a macOS Shortcut tile yet. Details: action tiles.
Ask runs on the Mac through Claude Code (your Claude subscription) or Ollama. It can keep working after you disconnect. Your prompts, and the screenshots Ask needs, go to the model provider you chose; with Ollama they stay on the Mac. Screen, Trackpad, Keyboard and Deck work without Ask.
Version 1.0 is in App Review and not on the App Store yet. The public TestFlight beta is open: join it in TestFlight, or read the beta page first. Install the Mac helper too, so you can pair as soon as the app is on your phone.
For security details (pairing code, relay, encryption), read Security. Have an Android phone instead? The Android app is free on Google Play.
Not yet. Version 1.0 is in App Review. The public TestFlight beta is open now; the beta page has the join link.
